First cycle - Steel springs, gas jets, metal wires

First series of researches dedicated to extend the sound potential of the violin, resorting to non-orthodox executive performances – bow's point of contact in proximity of or underneath the fingertip brushing the string, with another finger behind laying on the string as counterfort; open string played with different degrees of pressure along its full length.
A casual discovery has allowed to examine under the microscope the molecular fractures of a metal spiral in torsion for five seconds, and obtain a whole piece from this.
Finally, the use of a computer-aided software and the creation of dedicated algorithms have led to the composition of several envelope profiles. Each of them is able to deeply characterize the identity of the single synthesized sounds to which they have been applied.
